I think the outstanding and amazing story plot was "The Humans" was sizes miniature as floating organisms, explodes the truth in the middle part of the novel. Otherwise, existed many refutes, such as: how can" The Humans" can read the metal plate, unless they were genetic settings by our Earth scientists, in the beginning.

Oh I don’t know about guides, but I’m vegan too ,and as in many grimoires it is recommended a person of not eating or just bread and water ( sometimes they are allowed to drink wine so they don’t freak out during a ritual or just to cope with the austerity of not eating ) 3 days or weeks are asked for there leading up to the ritual ) well ,then we are kept in a state of perpetual ritual purity especially if one can practice celibacy at least for the same amount of time of keeping a no-meat diet in preparation for the ritual. It makes a big difference to one’s state of mind ,allowing a greater depth of understanding and perception. It’s something to slowly work up to as it’s very hard to remain on a vegetarian or vegan diet permanently when trying to just “ jump off” a carnivore diet.

I finally listened to this. It took a minute to go through with it bc the comments about Mica scared me off. I enjoyed the book and its focus on the foolishness of moral absolutism. But the comments were spot on about Mica. He’s annoying af, and becomes more so as the story progresses. Still a good read. I’m ready for the 3rd one now.

Actor Paul Giamotti (sp?) talked about this book on the Steven Colbert show a couple of years back. , really raved about it. It was very very gratifying to hear this book being talked about, FINALLY in a major public forum. Certainly has taken the world a long time to catch onto this amazing creative vision of the imagination. (I read it back in the '60's and always wondered why it wasn't getting the WIDE acclaim I felt it deserved.

Bravo! Well done. Great story expertly narrated. The way he changed the cadence of his voice for the difference characters was just right, not overdone. This is the longest story I have ever heard narrated on youtube and although there were a lot of names to learn the writer did a good job of reminding you who they were by adding little descriptions or contexts when mentioning names so it wasn't as difficult as I thought it would be. And in the last part the payoff was really really good, although it slipped into fantasy. Thanks!

this was great mate. Love this story and this author. you get the feeling while listening to this book that many of the horror elements of scifi in the contemporary can be traced back to some of these creative creatures. xenos from Alien are an example. some super evolving hyper predator that is out for human flesh. though there are not enough scifi horror stories about insects and this book has some horrific insects in it
